Hi Ken,

today I have a question, before upgrading my Joomla! system to 2.5.0.
My ImageFlow Module is working day and night more than perfect.
I run the Version 1.0.8 on my Joomla! system 1.5.25

I have everything prepared and more than s5 times exercised to migrate to 2.5.0
This works good, but the ImageFlow module does not that what I would expect.

My question is: must I upgrade the IF module before migration to 2.5.0
or is the first step the migration of Joomla to the newest version 2.5.0 and then running the upgrade of IF Module?

I tried also updating from 1.0.8 to a higher version in my Joomla 1.5.25 - but the module did not show the gallery as it runs before. Well I did lots of changes on the modules and at the moment in my website there are running more than 25 module copies.

So what is your advice as the professional programmer ?
I will do it in a proper and perfect way - best in one step!
I could not find any hint or post or whatever in the net.....

I have not done a migration from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5 but from what I've gathered it is not a painless effort. There is no quick and easy way that I know of to do the upgrade.

I don't see any value in upgrading the imageflow module on your 1.5 site before moving to 2.5. I would do the migration to 2.5 then go to the current version of imageflow for Joomla 2.5
