I figured it.
It now works like a charm
By the way, all that has to be done i sfollowing(in case people with joomla 1.0.15 will ask):
1. Unpack highslide directory to joomla home
2. Edit highslidetemplate.txt file like following:

//
// output template suitable for Highslide JS
// The following parameters will be inserted into the resulting output:
// {img} = URL of the image
// {hreftitle} = title specification from imagelistfile
// {rflct} = URL of thumbnail/reflection image
// {imgalt} = image alt specification from imagelistfile or filename if loading from a directory
// {imgtitle} = image title specification from imagelistfile.
//
<script type="text/javascript"
src="/highslide/highslide.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"
href="/highslide/highslide.css" />
<script type="text/javascript">
// override Highslide settings here
// instead of editing the highslide.js file
</script>
<a class="highslide" href="{img}" onclick="return hs.expand(this)" title="{hreftitle}">
<img src="{rflct}" alt="{imgalt}" title="{imgtitle}"/></a>

I add some part of javascript to point a highslide class.

I also created some css file, but already works without it.

Thanks for all your help.

For highslide, you really only should include the <script> and <link> statements in the head of your page. These normally are put in the index.php file of your current template. Including them in the highslidetemplate isn't going to work very well.

Take a look at the installation instructions on this page

Step 1 of the EXAMPLE is what I mentioned above. Step 2 of the EXAMPLE is taken care of by imageflow if you use the default highslidetemplate.txt

Hope that helps.

Hi efransi,

I have created a joomla mambot that will install Highslide JS on Joomla 1.0.x systems. I don't have any documentation on the mambot yet but just install and publish it just like any other mambot. You should then be able to get the highslide image popups in imageflow.

You can download it here

Hope that helps.

I am also using Joomla 1.0.15 and am having difficult getting ImageFlow to display.

I have loaded the ImageFlow module and published it with the position "imageflow"

I have loaded the mambot

And I have the following settings in the Image Flow module
Cascading stylesheet file: modules/imageflow/sample.css
Directory path: images/stories/highslide-images/gallery
Image list file: images/stories/highslide-images/testlist1.txt

This is the text in my testlist1.txt
//
// ImageFlow for Joomla images list
//
img="images/stories/highslide-images/gallery/image1.jpg" imgalt="Image 1" hreftitle="Hreftitle 1" imgtitle="Imgtitle 1"
img="images/stories/highslide-images/gallery/image2.jpg" imgalt="Image 2" hreftitle="Hreftitle 2" imgtitle="Imgtitle 2"

I have created a static content page and put the following in the html code area:
{mosloadposition imageflow}

When I view the page I get a black area with the yellow keyline but no images (see attached image). Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Regards,

Hi,

It looks like you have done everything right, given that your images are where the parameters say that they are.

Make sure you are using the most current version of imageflow (1.0.7).

What browser are you using?

Do you see any error indications in the status line of the browser?

Can you provide a link to your webpage so that I may take a look?
